MSTI was founded to provide the full spectrum of engineering project and consulting services to government and on-government customers.  Today, we are building upon our company’s foundation by continuing to partner on major facility engineering and construction projects for Y-12 National Security Complex’s (NSC) unique and critically important mission of making our nation and the world a safer place.

In the beginning, our Engineering and Construction department provided support services for the improvement of manufacturing and process systems as well as supported facilities and infrastructure to help Y-12 ensure a safe and reliable U.S. nuclear weapons deterrent.

Today, our Engineering and Construction department has the capabilities to handle the most complex and important project operations from conception to completion.  As an example of our high-level experience, MSTI provides planning, design, and construction support for Y-12’s mission to achieve a smaller enduring nuclear stockpile, a steady demand for special nuclear material, a growing surplus of highly enriched uranium, and an expanding role in international and domestic non-proliferation efforts.

To fulfil the MSTI promise of providing the complete services to fit our customers’ needs, our project team are equipped with engineers—mechanical, chemical, electrical, civil, environmental—and other specialized professionals—project planning, scheduling, cost and resource, health and safety—to make sure every project is finished efficiently and completely.
